York Awareness Posters
The Brief

Design poster campaign promoting safety aimed at people in York, particularly students. Hearing about the unfortunate events of individuals falling in the river in York, highlighted how little some people are aware there are dangers all around.

I needed to find out how much students actually knew about the dangers in York. To accumulate all of the information required, I handed out questionnaires to fellow students, went out around town to watch how people act when in groups/ alone etc. and found out lots of information from the internet about dangers in York and what was being done to deal with these.
​
The main issues I needed to address were river awareness and drinking culture.
