The Brief

Create an infographic or piece of data visualisation using the ‘Human Cost’ data set sourced from the Information is Beautiful Awards. The data set records the price of a human life from slaves in Ancient Egypt through to modern military personnel.

Experiment with different ways you can visualise this data, think about what hidden connections that you might discover by doing this. You could look at showing the data in chronological order, by gender, country or by price. Look for correlations between these categories and see if you can show all this information in one visual or perhaps focus on one strand of the data set.
